When one thinks of Malta, one of the first things that comes to mind is an amazing night life. In fact, Malta has now been recognized as one of the best party destinations in the world, offering an exciting and fun night out to the many people that visit its numerous bars and night clubs. Therefore, keeping this in mind, get ready for the most unforgettable and unique social programme in ICM history.
We will be kicking off the ICM’s social programme with an open-air pool-side welcome party at the hotel. This will be the first occasion during which the participants can relax, meet and party with old friends, whilst making new ones. A bar will also be set up, weather permitting, outside by the pool, serving a wide range of drinks at very cheap prices.
Monday night we will be going to Q-Bar, an elegant and chic wine bar and lounge, ideally located on the beautiful and picturesque Valletta Waterfront. Born from a need to challenge the norm, deviate from the ordinary, compel in design, intrigue and excite its patrons, Q Bar offers a unique mix of lounging and clubbing in posh surroundings. The latest tunes will be playing, enabling you to wash away the workshop stress accumulated during the day.
This is the third stop of our social programme, which is going to see us party the night away in one of the most exclusive and original bars in Malta. We are planning a mad, pumping party, which will surely go down in ELSA History as legendary….
Wednesday is Vision Contest Day and undoubtedly the highlight of our Social Programme. This ICM classic is going to be held at Amazonia, one of Malta’s biggest clubs, located 500 metres from our hotel and looking onto a rocky beach. With two dancefloors, an outside terrace and a stage right in the centre of the club, Amazonia provides the best location for what promises to be a wild and wacky Vision Contest.
It’s time to put on your Dinner Jackets and your dresses ladies and gentlemen as Thursday night you are going to the Ball. This traditional ICM Gala event is going to take place in one of Malta’s most historic and beautiful towns; Mdina. ‘ The Silent City’, as it is known by locals and visitors alike, is the old capital of Malta and it is a medieval walled town situated on a hill in the centre of the island. We will kick off the night with a short stroll around the town, before making our way to Bacchus, our venue for the evening; a cosy and intimate banqueting hall situated in the bastions. With a large dining area, a beautiful garden, a spacious dance floor and all-night entertainment, get ready for an unforgettable and luxurious Gala Ball.
Friday night is party night in Malta and all the stresses and headaches of a week’s work come to a screeching halt as the nation heads to the many wine bars, lounges, clubs and bars dispersed around the island for a night of fun. We don’t want you to be deprived of such, of course, and so we will be taking you to one of the newest and coolest clubs around; The Villa. With an impressive ambience, and brilliant party tracks playing all night this will surely be a night to remember.
Every good thing comes to an end, as they say, and Saturday night we are going to entertain you with our Farewell Party. After a long and tiring plenary, we will do our best to make you celebrate one last time during what we hope is going to be a fantastic ICM.
